Anyone have an iguana in NYC?

Psst, don't ask illegal questions here it is frowned upon. I'm not the snitchy type though so its cool with me. One thing I will say is that remeber you represent many other reptile keepers out there and everytime one of us gets caught breaking the reptile policies, the government gets one step closer to ending our right to keep any exotics, period. Just so you know in Hawaii the penalty for having one is up to three years in jail and up to $200,000 fine, so you might find out more about NYC's penalties before you just assume a slap on the wrist. A permit is unlikely unless you are a rehabilitation service or wildlife rescue preserve. I looked and couldn't find any good info though. Good luck and check the laws before you take the risk.
