Selling Seattle for a possible relocation?

Next June I am planning to visit Seattle with my wife. I've been a few times for work and like what I saw. We have lived in the Southeast our whole lives and I would like a change for us (especially my chilld). We are going to be in a position in the future where both of our jobs will make it a viable option for us to relocate and I would like to "sell", for lack of a better word, Seattle to my wife. Like I said, I've been to Seattle a few times but only for a couple of days at a time. We will hit a few tourist spots of course, but I would like to go to a few places that are a little outside the tourist box and showcase Seattle. We will be in town for 5-6 days and I have a lot of time between now and then to plan the trip. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
