Navy Separation ~ Relocation ~ What's the process?

I am separating from the Navy in October. My wife is moving early to our new "home" which is actually closer than our "home of record." Our plan is to move out by September. What I'm really looking for is some help on how to procure the move of my belongings. I have no orders or anything like that...I feel like I'm being ignored to tell you the truth. How can I best plan for this transition? A step-by-step answer is really what I need. I'm not ending my military service. I'm transferring to the Active Reserve and attending college. I'm looking for a smooth transition and it has been anything but so far. Please...those with experience...let me know what to expect and how to arrange the move.
