Should the NHL give up on relocation and just eliminate some teams altogether?

I do understand that this would be almost impossible because of the NHLPA not wanting to put players out of a job. I just figure it would be a better league. You would have great attendance in all buildings and better talent on the ice making the product better for people who actually want to see it. I say let the Winnipeg move happen, move the Coyotes to Southern Ontario then eliminate Tampa, Carolina, Nashville, NYI, and Florida.
