She says she is not sure what she wants? What do i Do?

i met this great girl about 2 months ago at a party. There was definitely instant attraction and a week later we went out for a drink. We both have a lot in common and really got on well. However, there is a large age gap, i am 38 and she is 24 but it never seems like that when we are together as we have so much in common and similiar interests. Since then we have been out 3 times, and once I went out with ther friends. We have been texting regularly and talking on the phone. The last time we went out, we had a couple of drinks and she was very affectionate, holding my hand, lots of physical contact. She then asked me back to her place. We put on a dvd and lay her bed. When things started to escalate, she said to me she wasnt sure what she wanted. I was OK with that and just lay there for a while talking. Not really kinow what was going on i called her up the next day and we talked about the night. I told her, i really liked her and enjoyed getting to know her. But i wasnt looking to get married there and then, which is something i thought she might be worried about. She said she also liked being with me, so we made plans to meet for lunch. 2 hours before lunch last week she cancelled saying she was sick. I was totally annoyed just cos i was really looking forward to seeing her. Since then she has apologized saying she wasnt feelign well, but now isnt returning my texts. She says she is not sure what she wants, and might seem like she is giving me mixed signals. But when we are together, the signals arent mixed, they are very clear. She is very touchy with me, she also says stuff like, next time we go out, we shoudl do this or that. Plus shes asked if i could help her fix a shelf and makes references to a boyfriend, which i would really like. But then when i think about it, she never initiates contact, never calls me up and never asks me out. And now its nothing. I just dont get it. My male friends say, shes not worth it. My femalse friends say i need to patient. But do i just wait untill she initiates contact or keep trying or what?
