In what ways do unions vote against themselves, when they vote for and support democrats?

Big union states are losing out big time in the jobs race. Businesses and individuals are flocking to states like Texas that have right to work laws and are business friendly. Big union states, particularly those that have large public unions are forcing fewer and fewer people to support through taxes more and more public workers. That is why those states are so deep in debt and are losing out to southern and western states. The public sector cannot create wealth - only the private sector can do that. That is a lesson some states or more accurately, majorities within those states do not or cannot understand.
