So I took my final exam for history. The test was ok in difficulty, I had a C in that class and with at least a B in the exam, my final grade would be at least a B+. Here's the problem, I didn't finish the test and my teacher never told me I couldn't finish it so I end up missing automatically 35 questions out of 200. Throughout the school year, my teacher would always let his students finish tests after school, but this time, the biggest test of the year, he gives me a time limit when he never announced it. I had 2 hours to finish 200 questions, for people who thoroughly read questions and answers, that's too little time. And this conflict escalates to the school too cause the school sets the final exam dates. My final exam date was the last day of freaking school so there was no chance to finish the test since teachers had to turn in grades immediately. Unlike the school I am in now, my old school did the exams 1 week before school ends so that if you don't finish, you have plenty of time to finish afterwards, that's not fair. Plus, teachers actually encourage you to take your time in tests, not to rush, and to carefully read each question and answer, yet, my teacher says that and gives me a huge test with very little time. So basically my best score can a 165 out of 200, which is bad and I know I didn't do too well. You should never have to be timed for huge final exams, we should always take our time cause that can affect my career after high school. I mean, who knows? Maybe now I can't accepted by some colleges now since I don't have A's and B's now. What do you think?

Is this workplace harrassment?

I work overnight on a mental health unit. Recently, my manager use still photos from surveillance cameras mounted on the unit and laid them in the employee common area to highlight no-nos for employees. There were comments written such as 'badge not visible', 'no shoes on', 'not compliant with dress code', etc. One of my colleagues removed the photos and complained. I still to this day have not seen them since they were only visible to others while I was off 2 days. Noone has approached me from management to discuss the violations of policy. I am certainly not the only person who goes shoeless at night, or any of the other policy violations, but I find it interesting that they singled me out, seeing that there is a push to get rid of alot of the veteran staff in favor of new blood. There also appears to be an animosity toward me here by the new administration, I may have upstaged the new manager days before by de-escalating a group of clients in a situation that he lost control of. Of legal note: I work in Massachusetts, not sure what the laws here say about this. Also, the cameras are intended to protect staff and clients in the event of a restraint, but increasingly have been used to 'catch' staff in policy violations. The video feed goes to the main hospital; we are a satellite 60 miles away.

parking kind of sucks in baltimore city depending on where you live or are going. There are quite a few garages, but they are rediculous in the prices to be honest. Most neighborhoods however have permits to park if you live there, all others are towed. Taking the bus is a risk unless you find the possibility of being robbed thrilling. The city really isnt that big, so getting around quickly is usually no problem except at rush hour. Yeah though, i think that a car would be a necessity.

Help kicking foot hurts!?

How common is it for ferrets to dig into walls?

ive had ferrets for ages and they have never tried digging into my walls. the only issue i have with them is scratching at my sliding door which has bits of wood come off and it looks stupid. i dont think ferrets normally do that. i think it would have to be incredibly bored to actually get through a wall.. and then the owners didnt even stop it? im sure it would take days for a ferret to actually get through the wall and make a hole.. it would be done with contant scratching or biting.. that seems a bit odd. sorry but i dont see how that can happen in just casual play. i think they were irresponsible owners.

Protein. Protein is harder to digest, so it fills you up for a lot longer. If you're full, you usually don't get cravings. Naked juice with protein in it is really good and healthy too, and things like unsalted nuts, beans (bagged not canned, because canned ones sit in a pool of fattening corn syrup), and LEAN pieces of meat are your best bet. Include these in your regular meals, and snack cravings should go away. Also try drinking lots of water between meals, and a good way to settle your cravings is to try interesting new flavors sometimes, treat yourself to a different meal you've never tried at least once a week.

Paypal dispute escalated to claim?

I put a dispute on paypal because i was sent fake items from a seller. I've tried contacting him many times but had no reply whatsoever. I then escalated the dispute to a claim, in which paypal would decide the outcome. Right now i am at the stage on the claim where we are waiting for the sellers response. On paypal it says that if the seller does not reply withing 10 days then the money will be refunded to the rightful owner. How does it work? I have had random vision changes since i became pregnant... Im in my 12th week and it started about a month ago. Its starts with a blotch in both my eyes and it seems like it blocks out half of someones face or its pretty much like its blocks out half of my vision completly and then its turns into a blurred spot in both eyes and then that goes away but escalates into me barely being able too see anything and my side vision goes out and i cant see anything too the sides.... Do puppies goe through a fearful stage?

I have a 5 month old Border collie/australian shepherd mix puppy. She is a great dog besides this fearful stuff that has escalated in the past month. I was looking up about it and some people have expierienced the same thing especially with Border collies or mixes. She has taken to barking at dogs and even people she lives with if she sees them on the street. She will be 4 feet away from my brother and will conntinue to bark very aggressively and loudly even though she knows who he is. Will bark like crazy at other dogs. She gets lots of excercise but has been making it really embarrassing to even walk her around the block. I can't get her to stop barking unless I hold her muzzle shut. I have tried standing in front of her and telling her no and yanking the leash. Help? She is skittish of weird objects too. I really hope this is only a phase. What's wrong with me?

I'm 23 and I've been getting headaches since I was 13. Frequent ones, some times they last more than a day, very rarely do they last less. Before anyone asks, I've told my doctor. I've had 4 of them in the past 10 years, told them all and all they do is prescribe me painkillers. You name it, I've tried it. Problem is most painkillers don't work.. and the ones that do, stop after the second or third use. This past year, the headaches have gotten to the degree of extreme pain that I end up in tears, I've also developed an... urge, to injure myself in some out of it way, as a sort of pain relocation (my most recent 'urge' was to squeeze my skull so hard it cracked and punctured my brain) Yeah, I don't think it's nice either. Are the headaches driving me this crazy, or is something more serious going on?

Should I move in with my grandma?

I have had a lot of issues in my life with some family and other issues, i really believe you should move back to Chicago with your grandma, i know you will miss your brother but you will see and talk to him and you are older too so it will be hard now and hard at college time to not see him much and to miss him. Since you have the option I'd take it, i wish i would have had the option when i was younger it could have made my life a lot better. You will have a strong backbone behind you holding you up (your friends, best friends, sister, grandma, and aunt) that is very very important, you will probably feel better and have better grades, teachers, and opportunity because you'll be doing better with grades, learning, feeling better, and of course university of IL. And at your age you need fun, and to feel comfortable where your living and the school, as well as people you trust that will hold you up if you start to fall. Not having a car isn't as big a deal as having fun with friends and doing good with life and feeling comfortable. So go live with your grandma Be happy do good, but its still your choice in the end. You could have a contract drawn up between you and your roommate, stating that you are not responsible for any damages etc that occur once you've moved out. You'd have to have proof (preferably, pictures as well as having the landlords do a walkthrough) of the state of the place as of your move out date. In the event that there were any damages, you would be responsible to the landlord according to your lease, but you would have the right to sue your former roommate for your losses. Really, it's a lot of drama. The simplest thing to do would be to find a new roommate to take your place for the remainder of the lease when you move out.

Apartment Company Charging for "damage to hardwood floors"?

We are living in an apartment complex. When we moved in we were the first tenants, there were scratches on the floor and my husband noted them in the move in paperwork (they were in the dining room). He also called a few days later and said there were further scratches in the hall and living room. He was told by an employee he would note our account and we didn't need to come in. Today I was hanging out with my friends (I'm 13, my friends are 12, 12, and 10), and we were really bored. My brother and my friends brother were hanging too, also with my brothers best friend. Living with soon-to-be-husband who steals from me - what can I do?

I am going through a divorce and I have to live with my soon-to-be ex-husband. My ex has only a part-time job, and is not seeking full-time employment - I pay all the bills, and he just lays on the couch. I tried to get him out of the house, but our judge said she won't do that (or even plan to do that in the future) because he has nowhere to go...nevermind that if he had to leave, he might be motivated to take care of himself. Anyhoo, he has been taking my things...deliveries that come to the house, whatever he wants out of my bedroom. My lawyer says that the judge won't want to be bothered with petty things like this...I'm sorry it seems petty to her, but it's tough to live this way. If I got the police involved, could they help? My lawyer's solution was to take something of his! I don't want to escalate things...I just want it to stop. Any suggestions?

Is Microsoft failing to honor points for their recent two year subscription plus 1600 points offer?

Back in October '10 I signed up for the two year 84.99 subscription plus 1600 points. I never received any email or in-console confirmation of the points (just the two years already charged to my card). I've talked to at least 5 people at Xbox and it seems their trying to cover their mistakes. One person denied they had the deal. Another said I would get my points. And yet another says I just signed up for the two years. I've escalated the call to two different supervisors and I refuse to give any ground. I even told them I would cancel my Gold for a full refund and the guy had the nerve to tell me it was past 30 days for a full refund. I told him I didn't care if they escalated it all the way up to Bill Gates. My guess is if I'm having this much trouble getting these points then so are a lot of other people. I plan to start a Facebook page if there's enough people being screwed and I will even go as far as to try to start a class-action lawsuit for Microsoft's bait-and-switch Xbox live tactics. I even have one of their customer service reps on record saying they don't show anywhere with your subscription renewal details regarding any extra points or freebie/extras. This is beyond ridiculous and as Tom Petty says... I won't back down. So how many more of you out there will speak up?

Navy Separation ~ Relocation ~ What's the process?

I am separating from the Navy in October. My wife is moving early to our new "home" which is actually closer than our "home of record." Our plan is to move out by September. What I'm really looking for is some help on how to procure the move of my belongings. I have no orders or anything like that...I feel like I'm being ignored to tell you the truth. How can I best plan for this transition? A step-by-step answer is really what I need. I'm not ending my military service. I'm transferring to the Active Reserve and attending college. I'm looking for a smooth transition and it has been anything but so far. Please...those with experience...let me know what to expect and how to arrange the move.

Do you think that Einstein's glory/fame is a bit over emphasized?

I know that Albert Einstein was a great physicist, but to look at it so where a lot of others. I cannot begin to name the number of scientists who have made major discoveries and eye-opening inventions and even received noble prizes for them, yet they were over-shadowed. However Einstein's greatest achievement was perhaps the theory of relativity. I know this was a very very important discovery but so were others not in physics( for ex genetics). And frankly i find that works in Physics are more credited than works in Biology or Chemistry ( DNA was a major break through and perhaps Crick was the only guy in that subject to be recognized by many). But coming back to the question I think Einstein's fame escalated mainly due to his participation in the nuclear fall out in Japan in World War 2. If it weren't for that Einstein would perhaps be a broke scientist like all of the others and his work buried with him. What do you think?

Moving from PA to FL and Relocation Package,Help!?

No way! I too am moving to florida! I'm going from DC to tampa :) what I'm doing it buying a furnished apartment so that way I don't have to worry about bringing all my stuff and the rest is getting shoved in a PODS seeing as you have a baby I would still get the pods to save money and just put him to bed or in his stroller and take turns bringing things in or you could hire a mover but that is a bit pricey. seriously, Im sick and tired of hearing my friends say "if you dont like it dont listen to it." ITS GETTING BLASTED INTO MY EARS ON EVERY RADIO STATION HOW CAN I AVOID IT?, I usually have to sift through hundreds of repetive uncreative music before I find one decent song. I get so mad because I know of so many other talented people who put their heart and soul in music, but they have to live the starving artist life just to get by. If you join the military you might get sent out to Camp Pendleton or San Diego anyways, why waste your savings? And the SD police are always hiring, they've had tons of scandals lately so lots of openings. Why don't you do all the work to become a police officer where you are and then apply to the SD police or just join the Marines or Navy and get sent out to SD anyways?

Should I move back home after relocating far away for a job?

Hi there, I relocated about 1000 miles away form home for a "development opportunity." Its been about 6 months now and I am extremely home sick. The job is going alright but I am not very fond of the people or the company anymore. Its been extremely hard to make new friends too. I feel guilty though because I have not expressed my disappointment to my boss. In fact I will admit that I am scared. The company is a fortune 500 company and they truly believe in me and want to invest in me but the bottom line is that I miss home and am not very happy. I do feel that my relocation was a mistake (on my part) and that I did not fully evaluate my true feelings and what possible obstacles I may face by relocating. If I do decide to move back "home", this decision will impact my ability to advance within the company and I will probably have to resign, but in the end my happiness is more important (I think). Gang stalking is when a group of people decide to target an individual and attempt to control aspects of that individual’s life and monitor them 24/7. There is this bunch of people who i don't know anything about. i don't know who they are, what they want but i know they are having great pleasure to obsessing about me online. They find me anywhere i go. Chat rooms, online forums, hacking my emails, face book account.. etc. They are obsessed about me, what do i do, where do i live. They are quite stupid because it is very easy to see their stalking tactics. They are quite annoying because they can't understand with their small size brains that how i know their tactics and actually accusing me of being paranoid. I went to a new chat room that i have never been before and they found me there also. One of the id i have JUST PMed start talking to me like he knows me very well and tried to convinced me that i am a paranoid. Is it possible that these people are really delusional and they don't know what is going on around them. One man is creating IDs that talks like me, abusing me and acts like i am the one who has a paranoia. Never seen such idiots before. That has been going on for some years but it escalated with in this three months. They found where i live and even send somebody to my house to take a look at me. Before that there was these ids in chat rooms that appearing and disappearing with the things only i can know. Like my mothers name or my brothers name, or a purchase i made, or a domain name i purchased. There were id appearing and telling me things only i can know and disappear. They are getting immense pleasure of what they are doing. When one of them find me in one of the different chat rooms, he calls his friend to abuse me. I know that is really bizarre but i was reading about this type of criminals and the more i read the more it makes me feel sick about these so called humans. They are calling me names and sometimes just sitting there and running insults on me in such a cold blooded way. What kind of people would do that?
